Our story in the maritime industry began in 1981 in Naples, by a shipowning family. Over the decades, we have embraced new challenges and evolved in response to the industry’s changing needs, developing a deep, transversal know-how and expertise in full ship management. This experience has also shaped our commitment to excellence, safety, sustainability and pioneering progress, in the mining industry.
Nowadays Argo is the top leader in research vessel management, in cooperation with the Italian government for the national and international oceanographic research campaigns and a trusted partner in offshore Wind Farm Industry, engaged in the biggest renewable energy project.

Crew management services are handled by ARGO Crew, our affiliated partner company, which specializes in the selection, recruitment, training, and payroll management of skilled seafarers through a highly professional team. ARGO Crew srl is accredited by ANPAL, the Italian Labor Agency, and operates under the oversight of the Italian Ministry of Labor. It is also certified under MLC 2006 by the Italian Maritime Administration and complies with the SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea) and STCW (International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) conventions.
